Ly is the twentieth letter of the Hungarian alphabet. Its Hungarian name is ellipszilon or elly (sometimes spelled ejj). Nowadays it represents the same phoneme (palatal approximant) as the Hungarian letter j, but historically it represented the different phoneme (palatal lateral approximant).
